Taylor Mountain Youth Conference

Habitat for Humanity & Taylor Mountain Stake's Youth from the Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints have teamed up to build a house in a day.

The youth wanted to do something different this year for their youth conference. They wanted to help the community. Take a look how they are making a difference by serving the community.

Here we have 3 of the leaders snapping lines getting ready for the framing crew to come in.

The youth arrived at 5:15 am June 14, 2001. Here you see them watching & waiting for their group to be called.

1:15 pm - Just an update - all the roof is finished along with the siding. Inside the sheetrock is finished & sprayed. They are waiting for the texture to dry. Outside the painters are ready & the trim carpenters have all the materials precut ready to go.

You can see that the youth are working hard to prepare for the incoming sod very soon.
